Our mission is to educate our customers about aromatherapy and how it relates to self-care. Sparkle & Co Aromatherapy was not created just to sell products but provide tools needed to care for your body spiritually, mentally, and physically. We are here 1st to provide knowledge and resources for individuals to learn about aromatherapy. We encourage self-care, self-love, self-awareness & self-sufficiency.
Sparkle & Company Aromatherapy was created in the kitchen of a mobile home in Dallas, Texas. Like many small businesses our beginning was humble, but our dream was bold and vivid. The only thing we knew for certain was we couldn’t stop. The company has seen many changes in the fragrances used, candle design & vessels, logo design and overall aesthetics; one thing has remained consistent and that’s our sincere desire to make the best products we can for our customers. Our goal is to create the most unique & beautifully scented self-care & home fragrance products on the market.
Before Sparkle & Co Aromatherapy was born our company was called Sparkle Candles. We made candles in wine glasses and recycled desert glasses. That was it, and that was all. Aromatherapy was not introduced until a few years later. The idea was sparked by a customer question at a vendor event. As she looked through the neat rows of candles that resembled like ice cream sundaes, coffee drinks, and piña coladas, she asked me why I didn’t make aromatherapy products. I thought about the question before I answered also thinking about the fact that I was eagerly awaiting more sales because the day was almost over. Hearing someone ask why you don’t have something is the last thing a vendor wants to hear. The truth is I believed, at the time, I knew very little about aromatherapy. I personally knew the benefit of lavender as I suffered from migraines most of my adult life but that was the end of my aromatherapy journey up until that point. Instead of defensively answering the question I choose to get more information about her needs regarding aromatherapy. What scents did she like, which ones she uses most often, and how they benefit her? That one conversation conceived Sparkle & Co Aromatherapy. The goal became less about making pretty candles and more about teaching others about aromatherapy, essential oils and the many benefits.
My company will continue to change through the years, but the purpose will remain to teach aromatherapy 1st and provide quality products & services 2nd.
